Potential lineups (rankings in parenthesis):

         RL                    Coleman
106  Depies (HM)        Teteak  (HM)
113  Kohn  (#9)          Blanchard (#8)
120  Depies (#2)         Champagne (5-10 record)
126  Mudlaff (#8)        Schall (#2)
132  Stepneiwski (HM)  Lansin (#8)
138  Gottsacker (#7)    Margis (#4)
145  Behn  (#9)           Seewald (#2 at 152)
152  Kohn                  Lansin (HM at 145)
160  Vandenbush         Karban (#1)
170  Risse (#7)           A.Stodola (26-14 record)
182  Verbanac            H.Stodola (23-14 record)
195  Klein  (#8)           Nowak (18-13 record)
220  Lewis                  Pillath (#4)
285  Anklam (#1)         Salewski (18-14 record)

This is going to be a really interesting dual.  According to trackwrestling at team sectionals Coleman switched Salewski and Pillath.  Will Coleman try Pillath up vs. Anklam?  I say Coleman doesn't pull the switch here hoping for a 6 from Pillath at 220 while giving up 6 to Anklam.  At team sectional Coleman also switched Karban and A.Stodola.  This I could see them doing thinking Karban could knock off one of RL's ranked wrestlers, while they take their chance with A.Stodola vs. Vandenbush.  The rest of the matches I could see Coleman playing straight up.

I think RL has distinct advantages at 120, 195, and 285.  It's going to be a barn burner for sure.

Definitely will be an exciting match-up. Barring any upsets, a 7/7 split looks likely, with the match decided on bonus. Gottsacker went 1-1 with Margis at OTW - if he can get the W, I think that will be the difference in this match (again, barring any upsets). I'm a big fan of Trent's - if Trent forces his offense and pace, he can beat anyone at the weight. Hopefully he can come through big for his team.

I think RL can play this pretty straight up, making Coleman bounce guys around to avoid bonus points. 126-138 are going to be huge.

I'd like to see the dual start at 145 and finish up with a tie score coming into the 138 lb matchup between Gottsacker and Margis. Would that be exciting or what...

Mtendolle10

This one can still go RL's way even if they win fewer matches. I feel like Random can get quite a few more bonus points than Coleman based on where they match up. 4 pretty good teams at team state this year.

CLC FAN

Love the chatter!  I agree with Mtendolle10 that the teams are pretty even this year.  There were years where the semis were good but the final outcome was a foregone conclusion.  I don't think anyone would say that this year.

I will say that if either Coleman or Random Lake wins the whole thing, they will have walked a pretty darn tough path.  Can't wait!

DarkKnight

Random Lake could win this.  I see them as favorite at 106, 120, 170,182, 195, and 285... win another or two, like 138, 152, they can beat Coleman.

This is going to be a great match that is for sure. I think 126-138 are going to make the difference in this dual. I cannot even begin to guess how the coaches plan to move there kids around. I think we may see alot of these kids wrestle this weekend so we will get a little bit of a preview.

Wins from Jon Mudlaff and/or Trent Gottsacker will be the difference. I am confident both will win, with Jon being most likely.

hmmm I wouldnt bet on that one, i guess anything is possible.  I think they have a better chance of winning 132 than 126 or 138. The 113 pound match is going be interesting as well kohn is tough.

This is the reality.  The odds of both teams playing this "straight up" are probably somewhere between slim and none.

I agree with both of these statements. The dual will likely come down to bonus points, so the question becomes would you move your guys to earn potentially more points or move them to limit your opponents?
