Read the #Small Print# Team State Assignments

Not sure if this has been discussed but I was told to read the small print on the WIAA PDF file for Team State.

I thought it was an odd disclaimer. Any insight to this or have I looked to much into the language? Any idea how many HS programs have dropped wrestling this year in WI?

Apparently, it was updated on Jan.2, so I doubt you have anything to worry about at the last minute.  As for the number of schools dropping the sport, I haven't heard of any, but I know that there were more schools that combined programs this year.

Wisconsin Heights dropped their program again this year because of numbers. However all that did was make the Parkview Division III Regional a six team tournament.
