Ozaukee vs. Oostburg , alumni night

 Ozaukee hosts Oostburg Jan 7th . All alumni get in for free .I believe the last 2 or 3 duals between these 2 teams has come down to the last match .With Oostburg all ways having a full line up I except it to be very exciting again . We are also raffling off  a pair of Ozaukee wrestling fight shorts to Ozaukee students and their families and going to be tossing some t- shirts for the fans . If anyone knows of some Oz alumni let them know please , and anyone else up for watching a good dual I hope to see you there .

Anyone know if this dual is postponed?  If not (or I guess whenever it happens) I see Oz winning but close as always.  Possible lineups  (help me if I'm wrong)

I agree a pretty close dual if Hackl wrestles. If not Oz should win by 9 or so. Your predictions are all pretty straight forward until you get to 132 where you are predicting what I think would be a pretty big upset. Not even a toss up like you put on some of the other weights huh?

Woah!!  Totally wrote Oo when I meant to write Oz!  No disrespect meant to Large (or Katzer for that matter... he is undefeated, but if he does knock off Large it would be a huge upset).  That swings the whole dual to looking like Oz wins a fairly close one if Hackl wrestles, but Oz by a pretty comfortable margin if Hackl does not.

Sounds like the dual will be postponed.  Friday the 17th is what I heard for a new date.

  Thank's CLC for keeping everyone posted . As of now I am not sure when the dual will be rescheduled for . I like your breakdown and I agree it should be close once again . Also we are rescheduling alumni night for the 23rd against Random Lake . Hopefully we can get a full house to watch all the state caliber talent go head to head.

    The dual between Ozaukee and Oostburg has been rescheduled for Thursday Feb. 6th at 7 P.M.

Wow!  Is that 2 days before the CLC tournament?

I think the lineups have varied quite a bit from what was first posted... Watry is now at 113/106 for Oz, Oostburg seems to be wrestling without Mullikin or Ebeling right now, but Hackl is back in the lineup.  Anyone want another go at updated predictions?  I still think Ozaukee close or Ozaukee fairly comfortable, depending on Oostburg's health.

Ozaukee beat Oostburg last night by a score of 42-28.  Ozaukee got wins from Watry, Colton Kraus, Large, Hughes, Brouillette, Beckmann, Gottsacker, Schuette.  Oostburg got wins from ?? at 113, Loomans, Yeadon, Blok, Hackl, and Rogers.  Some interesting shifting around and some really tight matches.  This may be the wrong place for it, but what the heck... the conference standings, then are

Random Lake  4-0
Ozaukee        3-1
Oostburg       2-2
Cedar Grove   1-3
Elkhart Lake   0-4
