Midlands is ALWAYS December 29, 30.   >:(   EVERYONE is just supposed to know that.

What I don't care for: the second day starts at Noon, championships at 8pm.  Starte day 2 at 10am like the first day, and championships at 6pm or even 5pm, would sure make it nicer for spectators and participants to get out 2 or 3 hours sooner.

Yeah, that second day is a weird schedule.  I think I might go for just the 1st day this year.

Shane Siefert from Whitewater is mentioned. That's awesome.
As long as we are keeping score, I've got something to prove

Well, Siefert stuck McCall - that's good for something. I am surprised that Nazar might pick up a low seed given that he lost to a Badger red-shirt who has yet to make a name for himself at the DI level. If seeds hold, it suggests that Graff and Colon would see each other early in the tourney. That would be interesting...and telling.

1   A.J. Schopp   Edinboro
2   Tony Ramos   Iowa
3   Mason Beckman   Lehigh
4   Joe Colon   Northern Iowa
5   Tyler Graff   Wisconsin

Love these seeds,  Graff beats Colon in quarters, beats Ramos in semi's, and beats Schopp for champion   ;D   Any questions?   ;D

I think the 1,4 and 5 are on the top half, and the 2 and 3 are on the bottom. If so, Graff will beat Colon, then Schopp, and then Ramos.  Right?

4   Isaac Jordan   Wisconsin
5   Nick Brascetta   Virginia Tech (Unattached)

Very fun!  Two former HS teammates may face off.  Nick was an AA last year for VT and is RSing this season.

Add RT, Zach Neibert (VT) and Bo (unat) you have five former St P Graham wrestlers at Midlands.

Good times.   ;D

I didn't know Siefert wrestled McCall. I recall Dwyer and D. Willis with wins over Timmy but spaced the Siefert match.

So, McCall got stuck by Whitewater's backup 197 pounder?

Siefert did not pin McCall it was Dwyer that pinned McCall in the Dual.
