Results are on track.  I don't have time right now to post, but I saw Seth Liegel beat Nazar in finals.  Sweet.

So you assume he's capable of losing to Nazarby 1 pt, but not capable of beating him by 1 pt?

BuckyMatt

Wow, Impressive results for all of the Badgers that competed!  Especially impressive for Seth!  Beating a 2x NCAA D3 champ as a true freshman shows a bright future!

badgerjohn

Just got home..... Seth earned the win, Nazar scored the first TD.  Great scrambles several times.  Shane will have it up soon.

One correction needed at 197:  Ricky won the final with Eric.

What a great weekend for fans of Wisconsin wrestling last night and again today.  10 Badgers at Oshkosh today, 9 made it to the finals.

Nazar will be having nightmares about losing to Badgers at his home town tourney; Zeke last year and Seth this year.

And I mean no disrespect to Nazar.  He's a great guy all the way around, a great ambassador for our sport, a class act, a 2x national champ from one of our own Wisconsin schools, and I will be cheering as loud as anybody for him to  be a 3x.

Just saw the video of the match - Liegel really does a nice job scrambling; tough to finish on.
Merely having an opinion doesn't necessarily make it a good one
