As this day passes, I was fortunate to have a friend remind me of the importance of the date.

Never Forget
Merely having an opinion doesn't necessarily make it a good one

Never Forget

Thanks pope.  That is a powerful video!

I was looking around my classes today at the young faces of my freshman and sophomore students.  I know they know about this day but there is no way they can possibly remember first hand the events of 9/11/01.  They were at most 3 to 4 years old.  How can you remember events from that age?  So "Never Forget" to me means that we who do remember educate those who don't know.  Talk to the younger generations about where you were, how you felt, and how it has impacted your life.  Don't make it political, make it heartfelt.  It has impacted everyone in their own way.  I know I am completely a changed person in the last 12 years and mostly from the actions that have taken place since then.  Never forget 9/11/01, but most importantly let the younger generation know as well.
