Very pressing issue. you can't imagine the brutality that goes on with this stuff.

There's also the prospect of much greater misunderstanding when it comes to written v. oral communication. Just like on the forum, there are those who remain anonymous and talk like sausages. It's also very easy to misinterpret what is being said when it's written. When the reader has to determine the emotional state of the writer, with no body language involved, you got a powder keg.
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

Excellent post, G.  During my administrative training, we were cautioned to not over-rely on electronic communication, because of the issues that you pointed out.  I have personally made it a point to communicate face-to-face as much as possible, because of those issues.  FAKEBOOK repeatedly exemplifies that of which you speak.  That's why I dropped it.  Just can't pull myself away from this forum, however.
