This should be interesting. . .

WIAA proposed the following. . .Sheboygan Falls, Kiel, New Holstein and Two Rivers would remain in an EWC that would also include Chilton, Denmark, Manitowoc Roncalli and Valders. Plymouth would go with Campbellsport, Kewaskum and Waupun and form an unnamed league with Berlin, Ripon and Winnebago Lutheran.

In regards to strength of wrestling conference the EWC will easily remain stronger than the unnamed conference. Campbellsport, Chilton, Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls, and Valders have a historic dual winning percentage of at least above .650 with Campbellsport enjoying many years of being unchallenged (with the exception of Lomira) in the Flyway Conference.

In the unnamed conference I predict Campbellsport will win another thirty some consecutive conference championships until Plymouth rebounds from the lose of Coach David and  Coach Peterson.

Let's talk new EWC:
1) Chilton should have never left the EWC - lot's of tradition they might not be Campbellsport but they have produced a lot of state champions- must be some Hoerths coming up soon. ;-)
2) Denmark has had a lot of great wrestlers over the years and coming from the Bay Conference you can bet those wrestlers are excited for some fresh meat.
3) Kiel should have never left Charlie Lulloff leave coaching. . .he could get more out of less. Still many outstanding wrestlers over the years.
4) New Holstein coaching staff has improved and with better numbers they could field a solid team someday. Its awesome that Chilton is now reunited with Kiel and New Holstein. Lot's of family in these three communities. . .nothing better than cousins going head to head. . .lot's of good hating.
5) Manitowoc Roncalli . . .who knows what could happen if they start recruiting? From last place each year things can only get better.
6) Sheboygan Falls. . .has always been a solid team to beat. . . recently light on numbers. . .they will always make it interesting.
7) After a thirty year absence - Two Rivers has returned to the greatest they had in the late 70s and early 80s.
8) Valders has a very strong fan base and proud tradition.  They love their wrestling.

Should be fun! :-)
