Team Wanted for Kimberly Papermaker Varsity Invitational 12-7-2013

The Kimberly Wrestling Program is looking for one more team to compete in its 2013 Varsity Invite on December 7.  Unfortunately we had a team not able to attend that had previously committed.

The tournament is a 16 team individual scramble tournament.  Each wrestler will get 5 matches (3 matches in round robin pool, 2 matches in bracket placement).  Weigh ins will begin at 8:00 a.m. We had an excellent tournament last year with all wrestling beginning at 9:30 and completed by 5:30. 

Awards are given to the top 6 wrestlers competing. Also given out were Outstanding Wrestler and Most Falls Award.

We also run our tournament in conjunction with Appleton East's JV Invite.  Teams will be allowed to enter and extra wrestler in a weight class if their is an opening in a bracket. Any wrestlers not able to be inserted in the Kimberly tournament are then invited to participate in the Appleton East JV tournament.  A great way to travel with your Varsity and JV to two tournaments within 5 miles of each other.
