I know it was a loss, but that was just a great match, he wrestled fantastic. I was really impressed...and I can't remember the last time I was that disappointed in the outcome of a match at nationals (that didn't involve a bet). I'm going on record to say he'll be a National Champion next year! (I know, not that bold a prediction).

wonder if Scrouge still believes Sueflohn will be the best of the big 3.. Alex looked very impressive was neck and neck with the top kids in the country and was never overmatched. He had a very impressive 1st year.

I finally got to watch his semis match. So close on that one takedown attempt. His third place match happened so fast they didn't show it on TV. They later showed the pin though I guess.

He just looks like a veteran out there. His redshirt year and wrestling with guys like JO and Caldwell has shot his progress forward so rapidly.

We all wish he was wearing a Badger singlet. Still love to see our homegrown kids do well regardless.
