I think Jordan is spot on in his thoughts. Hard to argue against any of his points in the blog. I for one would love to see more aggressiveness and action, and I believe it would help the sport.

Amen.
A couple of those I have been rolling my eyes at for years.  Consolation stalling, thanks for nothing

The call that needs to be made is when the whistle blows and the first thing the
wrestler does is back up so that his butt is right at the edge of the mat
so that if the other wrestler hits a takedown attempt, he can get out
of bounds.  The refs have to put an end to that.  I even see high school
kids doing that trick now. The push out rule might help prevent that.

Next time someone writes about how disappointing some of the Badger freshman perform they should take his comment into consideration:

To put this into perspective, I was 16-13 as a freshman in college, and went 1-2 at the NCAA tournament.

Please, no push out rule.  It is not wrestling.
Simply call stalling.  I would be in favor of no warning, either.
I would like to reach through the screen and slap the next person who starts a thread about "global warming." Wraslfan
"Obama thinks we should all be on welfare."  BigG
"MN will eventually go the way of Greece." Wraslfan
