Milwaukee School Of Eng Raiders Host 10th Annual MSOE Invite Saturday

MILWAUKEE – The MSOE wrestling team is preparing to host the 10th Annual MSOE Invitational Saturday at the Kern Center.

The meet gets underway at 9 a.m. and features some of the top teams in the region and the country. Headlining the list of teams that will join the Raiders are nationally-ranked teams No. 20 UW-Oshkosh and No. 30 Wheaton. Concordia Wisconsin, Knox, Lakeland and Maranatha, who compete with MSOE as part of the Northern Wrestling Association, will also be in attendance, as will Hannibal-LaGrange, UW-Platteville, St. Olaf and Central College.

There will be some quality bouts, as several nationally-ranked wrestlers will be competing, including the top-ranked NCAA Division III wrestlers at 149 and 165 pounds, while No. 2 at 174 pounds and the fifth-ranked wrestler at 125 are also expected to compete.

The Raiders are off to a strong start this season having competed at three tournaments so far. Six different wrestlers have placed at meets this season, while seniors Dallas Schurg (157 pounds) and Caleb Staub (197) and juniors Nick Micelli (133) and Peter Kootstra (165) have led the way. Schurg has a team-high 10 wins, while Staub has posted nine wins and Micelli seven. Kootstra has competed at two meets, winning five matches.

So what happened?

No results?

Maybe the colleges could post results on track wrestling just like the high schools.
As long as we are keeping score, I've got something to prove

Ghetto

No one looks at that site

Congrats to both schools for an exciting dual.
