Starts off the day with old William Simpson. Wrestling begins 8am CST and will be streamed in FloPro. Live brackets and updates are also on trackwrestling. A few of the top guys (Betterman, R Mango) are not in the tournament. Spenser Mango is in the best of 3 finals and awaits the winner of the tournament. Let's go Jesse!

And quick work by Jesse - gets the TF in 58 seconds. He looks absolutely ready to tear it up today. Headlock push-out for 1, body lock for 4, 2 guts for 4 made it 9-0. He will likely have Nate Engel in the quarters next.

Wow - that was extremely intense for 9:20 in the morning. Jesse had a 7-2 lead and a high-dive to a bodylock, Engel countered and tossed Jesse for 4 and got the fall. Looked like a leg foul on the attempt and it was reviewed for about 3-4 mins. Leg foul and back to the 7-2 score. 1st period ends and Jesse gets back to his high-dive to bodylock a few times and gets a TD and then another for 4 to get the TF win. Wow that video review was intense.

Jesse likely will wrestle Max Nowry in the semis.

Thanks, Drew.  I was wondering what was going on.  Track showed the 7 - 6 score and then everything was delayed for a long time, only to have the score drop to 7 - 2.

Nowry slows it down and gets a methodical 2-2 win over Jesse. Refs called Jesse passive twice in the 1st and put him down, Nowry gets a trap arm gut for 2 and Jesse got one on the turn because he went straight across his back. No passive on Nowry the whole 2nd period, Jesse got a push out with 13 seconds left and needed to score again because Nowry had the biggest score. Very frustrating. Jesse couldn't get anything going, as Nowry didn't really open up and just kept solid position. Felt like there should've been a passive on Nowry in the 2nd.

Exciting match against Engel. Pretty awesome to see JT be aggressive even when up big.

Didn't get to see the match vs. Nowry.
As long as we are keeping score, I've got something to prove

Jesse defaulted out of the tournament. Since Nowry lost 2-2 to Hazewinkel there was no opportunity for him to get a wrestle back for true 3rd since Nowry is currently 3rd.
