Team Wanted! January 11, 2014 - New Richmond Invitational (Varsity & JV) New Richmond, WI

We had a team drop out and we are looking for a team to replace them. The varsity tournament is an 8-man scramble format-2 (according to trackwrestling.com - split into two pools of four wrestlers, wrestle your pool in round robin format, then top two and bottom two from each pool face off in championship and consolation semi-finals) with varsity wrestlers GUARANTEED 5 matches with full brackets. We invite you to bring your entire team along, as we will try to fill all Varsity weight classes with reserves. We will also weigh-in and pair up any extra JV wrestlers into brackets and run a JV tournament consecutive with the Varsity tournament in the same gym. We have a very nice facility located just 35 minutes East of St. Paul with plenty of seating. We run on 4 full size mats all day long. We provide a very good concession stand throughout the day (or until the food runs out!)

We are looking at expanding the tournament to 10 teams, so this could become a regular event for you if you get in now!
