This is nuts!!!  Why should a school be required to pay tuition for a kid that leaves?  I'm assuming this will also cut into the 9.9 scholarships even if a kid is wrestling at a different school.  Seems that this would give great benefit to the school that takes the transfer as another school is paying the scholarship.  What the heck were they thinking????

I read that differently. To me it seems that they are saying that the school that awards a scholarship to a transferring athlete must provide a scholarship until their 5 years are up, they complete their degree or leave to pursue professional opportunities.

Does it count against the 9.3 or whatever the current number is
