A couple former WIAA champs are making a name in the WWE.

Nikola Bogojevic (Superior-undefeated champ in senior season at HWT in 2010) wrestles as Otis Dozovic or Otis or lately "Four-Point-Otis" as a member of the Alpha Academy. Last night on Raw he pinned the legendary Randy Orton to gain tag team gold along with his partner, Chad Gable (2012 Greco-Roman Olympian Charles Betts.) I reported a few years ago that Bogojevic was on the NXT roster as a lovable goof, but he has really risen through the ranks since then. He also won the 2020 "Money in the Bank" ladder match.

Also rising through the ranks is Eric Bugenhagen (Franklin--champ in 2005? 2006? One of those.) Bugenhagen went on to wrestle for the Badgers for four years. He currently performs as Rick Boogs. He's been getting airtime on Smackdown as Shinsuke Nakamura's guitar-shredding hype man, but has also gained some notice as a single competitor. He was two-time 24/7 champion and last week defeated Sami Zayn on Smackdown. Bugenhagen has a fairly successful YouTube channel where he does videos on weightlifting, but also does some comic bits.
