I believe that Badger Wrestling is beginning to be something special. I wish club coaches would all support the program. Go Badgers!

And no, Bono is far from a great coach. He's average at best.
Can somebody come up with their Big ten tournament finishes, and also the NCAA tournament results, while Bono has been the coach here?

If you have every competed, there is an old saying my mentor and coach told me, "You are probably not as good as you think and not as bad as someone tells you". This team is much better than 1-7 and anyone who thinks they will be in 12/13th place at at the Big Ten's this week-end is someone who doesn't know this team very well and likely hasn't really competed

novice wrestler - sorry bud, the record in the Big Ten is what it is. You cannot argue that they are in second to last place in the Big Ten. If Gomez don't go they very likely could be 11th or worse. Oh, so I havent competed? Oh ok. I've won a state championship and wrestled in college as well. Keep drinking the kool aid.

Badger I believe they do well st NCAA this year. Let's see at the big ten's first!
Chris Bono is a great coach, communicator and recruiter. He has surrounded himself with talented coaches and is training them in all facets of the coaching profession. He has reached out to all parts of the state. And the Badgers recruit nationwide.
Fan attendance is way up. Over 5000 against Iowa. Over 2000 attended the Minnesota dual on high school regionals day; 1400 showed up for Northern Iowa on high school sectionals night.
While the dual season with all the close losses did not end up the way any of us wanted, the team still has the chance to do great things at the Big Tens and NCAA's.
We are 17th is the latest coaches poll. In the tournament rank; Intermat has us 14th and WIN Magazine has us 9th. Looking forward to seeing what the team accomplishes in March!
