The duals were a great event for the kids! I think we have the athletes to field two freestyle teams on the men's side. We were fortunate not to have any injuries on the men's freestyle team. Thus, we didn't have to forfeit any weights. I have been told that we as a state favor Fargo over the duals so we send a smaller team to the duals. Iowa, Minnesota and Illinois had some weights with multiple kids since you wrestle 8 matches in 1.5 days.
I have been to both events to watch and it seems like the duals are just as valuable of an experience as Fargo. Would love to see WI continue to do well in the duals.
