Dang those were some loaded teams. Gave Iowa a run for their money at the conference tournament each year.
How about Brigham Young finishing 4 spots ahead of the 3rd place Big Ten team. I complete forgot about them. I remember they were very good for a while. I do not remember for sure but I think they dropped wrestling about 20 years ago or so.

I believe Mark Schultz was the head coach at the time the school canceled the program.
Interestingly, Hull went heavyweight in Jeidy's senior year (1978) when he won it all and then Hull came back the next year at 190 (and placed fourth); must have been a small heavyweight
