January 21, 2018 - 2018 Portage Club Duals
The Portage Wrestling Board is extremely excited to announce the inaugural Portage Youth Wrestling Club Duals.
10-12 Youth Wrestling Clubs will wrestle 4 duals over 5 rounds.
4 Full Mats, 8 teams per round. Each mat will be set up as ¼, ½ and full mat depending on the age and size of the kids matched up. As such a dual may have 4, 2 or 1 match going at one time.
$250.00 per club, bring your whole Club.
No fixed weights, all rosters will be submitted by the club coaches 7 days in advance and matches will be paired up based on age, weight and experience. Each wrestler will receive a minimum of 4 matches but coaches can set up more matches through the day based on their discretion.
Teams and coaches mat side only!!!
NO medals and NO placing; just an enjoyable day of sportsmanship and quality wrestling in a dual format with the club kid's young and old mat side cheering on their teammates, all while their parents cheer from the stands.
This is truly youth club wrestling at its best.
We encourage you to bring your whole team over to our Dual style tournament, providing your wrestlers a fun, unique developmental opportunity in an amazing atmosphere.
Wrestling starts at 8:30 am with 5 rounds.
Full concessions, abundant raffles and a 50/50 will be on site.
