NOTICE of moratorium on political/controversial discourse on this forum.
NOTICE:
As of 11:40am, Thursday, October 23, 2014 a moratorium will be in effect on political/controversial discussion for an indefinite if not permanent period of time on this forum. There is no guarantee of return.
If you are interested in discussion of a controversial or political nature there are other venues available for such discourse, such as local, state or national online newspapers. These are normally accessed via subscription or facebook account and sometimes simply by signing up.
Regarding other topics that may be of a "controversial" nature, the existance of those will be on a case by case basis. Members who might persist in posting regarding controversial comments/subjects may be simply blocked from posting on this forum.
