Not a bad showing by some of our conference wrestlers at the AWA Preseason State Tournament this weekend.
Cal Hansen (Deerfield) took 3rd in a tough 126 bracket
Wilder Wichman (JC) took 3rd at 145
The other name that popped up was Weston Wichman who won the 120 bracket. I believe this is Wilder's little brother. Not a bad showing for a freshmen in a tournament.
Did anyone else wrestle? Any other big name freshmen coming up?
