I am happy to say that after many failed referendums Johnson Creek passed a $18.9 million referendum yesterday by a vote of 930-899. The new 5-12 building will be located about a mile west of the current facility on land the district previously purchased. The school, a dome concept, should be completed prior to the 2015-16 school year. To anyone who wrestled in our current school, thank you for putting up with our school's gym, locker rooms, etc. If we end up hosting conference in the new building, I personally promise a meal that you all will enjoy!
