Title: Dieringer this coming season
Post by: hammen on August 23, 2013, 02:17:58 PM
He looked like a beast (both wrestling-wise and size-wise) at Jr Worlds. For those in the know, is it reasonable to assume he is going 165 next year? He seems to have put on some major size this summer. Would love to see him meet up with Taylor in the finals and hold Taylor to only 1 NCAA title.

My guess is 157. OSU has a 165 named Tyler Caldwell who was runner up as a sophomore(lost to Jordan Bourroughs) and had a good season last year. Alex won't have to drop much to get back to that weight. 5 or 6 lbs.

Totally forgot about Caldwell. That's too bad - a Taylor/Dieringer match-up would be epic.
