Couple ideas..
1) If offered with rr ... enter a 'out of office' memo that will auto reply to every email you get... in the memo mention "My email will be changing to "KJohnson@gmail.com" etc... (or which ever new email service you use.)
2) Put a note that will be in all emails (at the bottom) that states you are changing your email address.
Neither one of these will work after you cut ties with rr. They will delete your accout, so do this (above) some months before dropping the rr account.
That is all I can come up with.
