Does anyone know if there has been an update on having a super regional for D2 and D3 next season?

I think its pretty been wishfull thinking,dont think its even a possibility.

This has been debated the last few years I think. I think this would be a good thing. Only a few kids would end up wrestling in 6 matches and and it is likley that not all matches would be full matches.
From what I have been told this has been discussed at length and it was sent back for approval to the coaches association. If they would do this they would have to run it on two dates kind of like the way sub regionals was run back in the 70's. From what I have been told the WIAA likes the idea but the coaches association voted it down.
