Who's looking forward to Robin Ficker on November 14th? You can say what you want about his antics, but you have to love the guy for switching from basketball to wrestling.

I enjoyed watching him at the Midlands last year. Fickler is entertaining and a great supporter of the Terps. It's nice to see him cheering in support instead of heckling. Although his NBA heckling was pretty funny at times.
We were in the upper level at the NCAAs this year and we could hear him yelling in row 8. Unreal. I thought I was loud. "Jimmy Sheptock is going to squash your head like a grapefruit!!!"
He must have screamed at one of the Maryland kids "you are going to be an All-American!!" like 100 times during the blood round match. The kid wasn't, but how awesome is it to have a guy on your side that is screaming that?
Pretty cool.
That's an awesome video, I'd love that guy in the stands for my team.
This meet will be at the Fieldhouse, I assume?
Could someone please tell me how much admission costs? The boys on our team have expressed some interest in making the trek to Madison. Seems like an awesome way to get the guys in the right frame of mind for the season.
Thank you!

Ticket prices are $5 for adults, and $2 for youth (2-17), UW students, and seniors (55+).
Thanks, Manty
Took a look at the match-ups as I would guess they are going to be and I would say UW 30 - M 9. What's your call?

Harley, not sure that is right on, at least two maybe, three weight classes are (I think) wrong for the UW. Guess we will see Friday.
Lets fill the Field House!!!
Good luck to Lantz getting his first Wisconsin Badger dual start!

Was Lantz initially slated for 133 against Maryland? If so, interesting things going on behind the scenes with the program.

Don't try an read to much into something posted on a website. Everyone is always looking for a scandal or something negative. ::)
Could anyone who will be there help the rest of us out with some updates? I'm guessing I'd have to sign up for 3 different special products through Big10 Network to stream it.
Badger Twitter account?
I know I'm new here but from what I've heard Thielke has finally gotten has weight under control and will wrestle tomorrow night. I think the coaches and Jens would prefer to red-shirt.
CHECKING OUT THE COMPETITION
• Maryland heads to the UW Field House for the first-ever matchup between the two schools. Maryland's starter at 133 lbs., Geoffrey Alexander, is ranked at No. 11 after coming off of a 25-11 season in 2013-14. Maryland returns seven starters after the 2013-14 season saw the Terrapins finish 20th at the NCAA Championships, only four spots behind Wisconsin.

Based on the interview with coach Davis looks like TJ at 49, Liegel at 57 and Forfeit at 33.
A forfeit in D-1 wrestling, hard to believe that can happen.
Said he could have put Cavalaris in there if he was healthy, right? No reason to waste a redshirt for a dual, even if it is the Big Ten.
We have a crew from Oregon heading up tomorrow night! Go Badgers.....
Badgers will be streaming on BigTen2Go.
Updates anyone?
Match starts at 8:00 ; Live Blog is available at uwbadgers.com
So I'm sitting in the first row right next to Robin Ficker. I figure if Spartan kicks someone out, it's him and not me.
Starting at 174
FF at 133
Crone at 149

Redshirt yes. Knee injury. I think surgery. Was in a walking brace all day at Wyoming Open. I attempted to get close enough to talk with him, but the nazi security guards were very diligent patrolling the floor.
Yes, redshirting. Jacked up knee. Will be ready to wrestle this summer it sounds like.

yeah, probably. I just about lost it with that ridiculous TD call at 174, and with the stalling call near the buzzer at 141.
