125 - Jimenez, Konrath*
133 - Cullen, Lantz, McClelland
141 - Martin, Stickley, Rowh, Spray
149 - Z. Wick, Grahek, Bahr*, Model*
157 - Crone, Scharenbrock, Shilson*
165 - E. Wick, Liegel, Quintanilla
174 - Christensen, Covaciu, Stilling
184 - Robertson, Ritter, Hemauer*
197 - Reinhardt, Peissig, Wetter
285 - Stone, Hillger*, Dretzka

I heard Stickley is going 141, Zander Wick is going 149, Crone is going 157, and Robertson is going 184. I would guess that means Lantz and Cullen battle at 133, Martin and Stickley at 141, Zander Wick and Grahek at 149, Robertson and Ritter at 184. Covaciu could be a force at 174 - he won a big tournament this past spring and had the best record of the redshirt freshman. Stickley and Crone moving up opens up spots at 133 and 149.  Should be some very interesting battles this year. I would guess there could be some weight movement during the season depending on who wins each weight. I like our overall depth this year.

2 or 3 low AA's.  They got 13th last year and I don't think they'll surpass any of the top 12 teams that were ahead of them.  Teams behind them that I think will leap frog them are Arizona St, South Dakota St, NC St, and Rutgers.  I'll predict 17th.

If Stickley moves up I could see Konrath or Jiminez taking that spot.

#4
133 could be weak if Stickley moves up, unless Konrath doesn't red shirt. I don't think it makes sense to burn his redshift as the team is not going to be a top 10 team next year.

If Robertson is moving down, hope Ritter spent the off-season getting bigger for 197.  I thought 149 was a tough cut for Zander last year, so hope he is able to adjust to it this year.

I think Evan has a chance to do big things in college, but 165 next year is going to be brutal. I still think he has a good chance to AA.

looks like a line up going in the right direction. 8-10 qualifiers with most being young and outside possibility of 1-3 AA. I think Lantz could surprise some people and get more wins that don't see right now.

157 Crone, Scharenbrock, Grahek,

184 Robertson, Stilling,
197 Ritter/Reinhardt, Wetter, Peissig

* Denotes redshirts,  I think Stickley will end up at 133 and 184/197 could have some major changes.  Heavy Weight will Hillger redshirt?

Will Wisconsin put a guy on the mat that can beat Nebraska's Beau Breske I suppose is a question that could come up this year, unless
Breske had an injury that may delay that question for another year.

At what weight is Breske anticipated - 174?
Merely having an opinion doesn't necessarily make it a good one

Reinhardt beat him. Little bigger now though. Could be one of 4 guys. Covaciu, Christensen, Robertson, and Ritter.

I think Christensen brat him in an open at some point as well. Not sure if Breaks was wrestling injured or not.

133 Eli S (so) Konrath (Redshirt) McClelland (j)
141 Cole M (so) LR (j) PS (f) GG (sr)
149 Crone (sr) Bahr (redshirt)

197 RR (sr) or MR (so) Peissig (sr) Wetter (f)
hwy Stone (so) Hilger (redshirt)

Looks like the two biggest changes are Crone and ZW switch

wrastle63

All the moves make sense besides Stickley. Surprised with him moving up. It leaves a perceived hole. I wonder how Lantz has developed since he was at 25.

So if we go off WWF's first list guy as the starter:
125  sr
133  so
141  so
149  fr
157  sr
165  fr
174  jr
184  sr
197  so
Hwy so

and the 18-19 could look like:
125  fr
133  jr
141  jr
149  so
157  fr
165  so
174  sr
184  so
197  jr
Hwy fr

wrastle63

Would make for a much more experienced team in 19-20. With only graduate being Christensen.
