Take it for what it's worth, but apparently D1 College Wrestling, says the Badgers come in at 22.

The Marko defection didn't help them in the rankings that's for sure.

ya, they actually have Marko listed yet on their recruits.  so, does that mean they are lower yet than 22nd?

As you can hopefully see, Hunter Marko is in the 2015-16 class.  Wisconsin not getting him has ZERO effect on this years (2014-15) rankings.  He however would have impacted next years rankings, but only time will tell if Barry and Co. will find a replacement.

we got the guy who beat breske, that should bump us up quite a bit.

I think that "guy" is Mason Reinhardt--Merrill, Wisconsin

Reinhardt and Chadd increased their value late in the season and early spring; not sure when this ranking was completed.

A lot of the other schools recruits did the same thing.

If you only count their conference they are ranked 8th!  ::)

See not soooo bad

No, there are 8 Big Ten teams ranked higher,
thus, 9th best recruiting class in the Big Ten.

Wow! That's an interesting set of stats, lizard
Merely having an opinion doesn't necessarily make it a good one

My mistake. Good luck landing any blue chip wrestler from WI. Not under the current regime.

WI needs to produce more blue chippers.
From Milwaukee to St Paris.

You can look at stats any way you want I guess, but to me I see Minnesota as doing a good job of recruiting and then keeping those recruits at a high level.  Edinboro is not getting the high recruits, facility, school, what ever, but wow they are still producing (great coach).   Wisconsin has to do one or the other better?

They will next year....Or the year after that.

Might be a few years. Just have to hope everybody "buys in".

I am satisfied with Wisconsin's recruiting class.
You have to have a Breske type talent in your
recruiting class if you expect it to be rated high.
A Fargo freestyle junior national champion.
A Cadet world champion would be nice too.
