QuoteJordan showed excellent athleticism while in college, wrestling for the Cavaliers as well. In the 1957 NCAA wrestling championships, Jordan finished as a runner-up in the heavyweight class. It was one of the last times Jordan would place second in athletics.

If only a higher percentage of high school football coaches would know that the sport of wrestling will compliment the skill set of a high school football player. Some football coaches get it, but many don't. The list is endless on highly successful NFL players who competed at a high level (State Champions) and at the NCAA level (AA or National Champions). I'm glad our football coaching staff gets it !
