Can someone explain the scoring ?

The 2 cradles were 2 points each (Taylor)

You get 1 point for controlling 1 leg/hip to the mat? (Burroughs)

Are regular takedowns 2 points each now? (3  of these for Burroughs and 1 for Taylor - It did not look like there was any back exposure on these....)

Why did Burroughs get 1 point for holding the leg?

Don't remember the match exactly, I will watch it again when I have time, but I think 1 point was for push out, no takedown if I remember correctly.

From what Bader and the flowrestling boys were saying, I think the 2 point takedowns can now be earned in halves.  So you get a "near-TD" point if you get in on a leg and are hip to hip with your opponent.  You earn another point for completing the takedown (so the normal 2 pts total... just awarded kind of weird).

Don't remember what exactly happened but I beleive they get 1 point for what they call almost takedown from what I understand. Kinda weird but that's how they explained it last weekend in Menominee.

back in the day in the wrestling room we called those "style" points !! :-)

Who created the new rules?  I thought they were supposed to make things better   Sounds like some committee came up with a new set of rules just as bad as the last set.
