Snowmobiling to Team Sectionals

According to the latest weather report, looks we will have to snowmobile to Team Sectionals in Auburndale. Best I can tell, it is over 100 miles by trail. My John Deere two cylinder tractor with chains will get there in about ten hours. I can pull a wagon. Anyone want a ride in the wagon? Dress warm. What a winter!

I understand timing is everything, but will the WIAA make exceptions for this if schools are cancelled or released early? Will they still send a school operated bus in those conditions?

From what I have been told, the makeup date would be Wednesday. I am not sure how WIAA approaches it if a school involved gets cancelled or released early. My assumption would be that they would reschedule for Wednesday even if it was just 1 of the 4 teams competing.

While not impossible for you if the storm clears, it is up to each school district as to whether they permit after school activities. It would seem unlikely our direction as it will be here longer and some schools have already said No After school activities for tomorrow.

Coleman Wrestling Facebook page is reporting that Auburndale Team Sectionals are postponed to Wednesday.

I can see why this was moved to Wed. River Falls has to travel to Wausau East. 2 1/2 hours right through the heart of the storm with 6 to 10 inches.
