Anybody have the scoop on the Hoosiers?  Any guys ranked?

leg turk

I looked them up on the Intermat rankings....

Indiana Hoosiers

165#......... #7 Taylor Walsh
174#......... #19 Nate Jackson

A good test for Zeke early in the year.

Walsh has no answer to Zeke.  I think Zeke is 2-0 against him so far.

Didn't realize Walsh moved up to 165,  thought he was still at 157 where Zeke beat him.  Goldman must have let one slip....... usually his answer is if you don't win to drop a weight.

Yeah, he moved up and he's having a sensational year so far.  He's starting just as strong as he started last year, with almost all pins and an OW award at a tourney.  Zeke will still take him, though.   What's annoying is that several sites have Walsh ranked ahead of Zeke.

But Dude, Walsh has never beaten Zeke.

Bun B

The rankings are reflective of the results this year. Zeke and Walsh haven't wrestled yet (id put money on zeke though).

sadpanda

Walsh got OW at Keystone after he head-stole Harger :o. IMO Walsh is decent wrestler but his go-to move can be defended, esp. when you know it's coming. The other one trick pony, Sheridan, is ranked around #20. Timmy should beat him if Sheridan can't head-steal him.

But Dude, Walsh has never beaten Zeke.

And Walsh has never lost to a middling guy nobody has ever heard of from the Air Force Academy. There is a balance in the broader scheme of things.

He probably hasn't beaten a guy like Green or St John.   ::)

yeah, I imagine one in undefeated and the other lost to someone outside the top 15 so the rankings until they meet make perfect sense.

Who cares things will work themselves out when they meet up.

I can see why Walsh is ahead of Zeke but hopefully Zeke keeps the wins coming over Walsh and next week he gets the win to move him up and Walsh down. Walsh win over Harger is a good win for him. I do see the guy from Air Force is now 16th.
i think it is a 23-10 win for the Badgers
