On behalf of the Bay Port Wrestling Club we would like to thank the families and fans that came our to support their 322 wrestlers compete in the 2017 Bay Port Sunset Showdown yesterday.   

In our first year using the 5 man round robin bracket, your wrestlers competed in a total of 702 bouts, on 15 mats, in a total of 2 hours and 24 minutes. 

While we experienced  a 15 minute delay at the start of the tournament, requiring us to re-bracket, we wrapped up the tournament 30 minutes earlier than last year, while providing most wrestlers with 4 matches, each. 

Many thanks to our huge staff of Bay Port volunteers who made this day possible.  We look forward to seeing many of you back in March for the WWF Kids Folkstyle Qualifier.
