Just an observation, but Muskego had the most qualifiers with 10, and went 2-8 in the first round and 0-2 in the second round.

Ouch! A bit deflating for them, I suspect. That said, it's a good chance to "marshal the troops" and fight through adversity...which might have an even bigger value than placing at the meet. Never know.

Wow. Mueller just threw Oromond around like a rag doll. Tossed him to his back 4 different times

Thoughts on the Koenig Seffrood match: I felt like the over time portion was poorly referred. Felt like ref was afraid to make a call against the potential 4xer

That OT lay and pray on the ankle was blatant stalling. That whole match looked like one guy trying to win and the other trying not to lose.

I agree, I wasn't a big fan of the second stall call, seemed like a prayer to drive him out of bounds.

In the finals I do not know the specific rules on calling a fall, if you can call a pin on a wrestler when the wrestlers are scrambling in neutral.  There was a sequence where Koenig was flat on his back for an extended 3-5 seconds...The ref didn't even get into position to see.

Both great matches, I felt like some favorable calls went his way in the semi-finals match as well as in the finals.

Interesting question - one that I had never thought of. That said, if you could get a defensive fall, why not a neutral position fall?

You can. It looked like the ref was reticent to make that call in the State Finals...but he did look flat for a GOOD WWE or whatever type pin.
