Any top 100 recruits coming to Madison?

Does the UW have any top 100 recruits coming to town? Meaning, guys that have committed in the last 2 years, and if so, who is the most highly accomplished wrestler?

Ryan Christensen and Johnny Jimenez were top recruits last year. Hunter Ritter and Eli Stickley are top 100 recruits this year. Hunter Marko is a top recruit for 2016. Also, it should be noted that Luke Rowh and Jared Scharenbrock did very very well as freshman redshirts this year.

8-5-14, #99, Eli Stickley, St. Paris Graham, 133-141lb.

I wish we had a little more firepower than that coming in, but who knows maybe the non top 100 guys will step up.

Is Tyler Schmidt still on the roster . Thought he was a potential heavyweight? The Badgers proble need to save some money this yr. if they are gonna go hard after hall next yr.

having Reinhardt, Ritter, and now Chadd at the upper weights should really help the depth. Adding Beau Breske to the mix would be awesome...

Why aren't Schmidt's results posted with the others on the UW page?

Plus every quality wrestler West of Nebraska will want to go there. *Still shocked IMar chose Champaign, Illinois over Tempe, Az.

As for top 100 - how many of them have the grades to get into UW? How many actually fit the personality wanted by Barry?

I have stated this from time to time for the past year...

Schmidt was a single digit body fat guy at 220 in High School. If he is still on the roster and is bulking up another 25-65 pounds, not unheard of, I would predict great things. Especially with 4 years of eligibility in front of him.

I agree with Dale but he looks really small for Hwy still and can't see any way of him coming down to 97 without hurting himself. Really shows how College needs a class between 97 and 285 limit. Something like 224 or 232 would be good for Schmidt and others and still light for football
