Every wrestler in Wisconsin should be receiving this publication.  Great information and the longest running wrestling publication in the State of Wisconsin! A subscription would make a great Mothers Day gift too... or a Fathers Day gift or a Fourth of July gift... Surprise someone!  Subscribe!

Back before all the budget cuts, our middle school library subscribed every year.  Too bad, because the guys really enjoyed reading it; especially when a local kid's name was mentioned.  Our median household income is about $35,000.  Not too many individual subscribers, either, I imagine.  Most of my students' families didn't even subscribe to a newspaper.  The Crossface is a great publication.  I hope more people get to enjoy it for a long time.  If any of my grandsons become wrestlers, I will buy them a subscription.

The crossface has been doing this for years.  It even happens at the same time every year.  For those of you who have never heard of this before either are a first year reader of the crossface or don't pay attention.  Novel idea, if you think your child can make it onto the list contact both your head coach and athletic director and ask them to nominate your child.  Follow up a couple of weeks later and make sure that it got accomplished.  If it didn't get accomplished take it upon yourself to make sure that it gets done.

That being said, congrats to all of the wrestlers that made the list and big props to my guy Preston Ernst for making first team for the second straight year and the other Waunakee kids who made the list.
And then there was that.

Good point Troy...it is pretty simple to nominate, all a coach has to do is ask the kid this GPA at the end of the wrestling season. The coach knows their win/loss record. All they have to do is fill out the form and send it in to Crossface. Does not seem to be a big job. But instead of focusing on the kids that didn't make the list...Congratulation to all of those that did. Great job!
