Here is the projected roster for this upcoming season

125 Jimenez / Cullen / McClelland
133 Taylor / Lantz / Stickley
141 Grahek / Rowh / Martin
149 Crone / Lubeck / Donar / Z. Wick
157 Ruschell / Scharenbrock / Schmid /E. Wick
165 Jordan / Quintanilla / Cathery / Covaciu
174 Robertson / Liegel
184 Christensen / Stilling
197 Peissig / Ritter / Reinhardt / Chadd
285 Medbery / Stone / Wetter

Thoughts:

125 Jimenez improved last year quite a bit and looks to return to Nationals ...

141 will be very competitive with redshirt freshman Martin in the mix with Grahek and Rowh. Stickley might be 141 also but did wrestle a lighter weight in freestyle this spring.

149 and 157 should be interesting. Crone and Lubeck are close, perhaps Lubeck moves up and challenges Ruschell at 157. Donar returns from injury. Scharenbrock looked more competitive as the season progressed.

174 and 184 will depend on where Robertson and Christensen go. Robertson seemed to be battling weight and injury issues at 174 this past season. Seth Liegel filled in nicely at 165 and 174 last year and would be a good option. Stilling is a possibility at 184.

197 will also be very competitive. Peissig is the incumbent and gained quite a bit of experience last year. Ritter, Reinhardt, and Chadd are all looking to breakout. It might be possible one of those three go 184.

All-American Seniors Taylor (133) Jordan (165) and Medbery (Hwt) lead the team. Perhaps NCAA Gold is in their future !

anybody see a schedule yet?  Anybody??

This looks like a competitive line up.  I just really hope that the staff is giving these kids the focus and direction they need right now to take a step.  Every team fills in with impressive people, the good ones seem to improve a lot.  This group of guys sure seems to have what it takes, I hope they help them get there.

I think that is the schedule but surprised it is up and posted already. That seems early.

looks like 3 wins; 3 L; 3 toss ups. should be an interesting season. Looking forward to it!

157 Ruschell / Scharenbrock / Schmid /E. Wick

I am going to predict that E. Wick wins the wrestle off at 157.
I am not saying he won't redshirt, only that he is the best
guy at that weight as a true freshman.

Grapl

I believe Taylor is done.

Lol done? Highly doubt that. Could see him moving up again but not done.

I will take that bet, I would agree with this if there was a mid year wrestle off by I will one of the returning guys at the beginning of the year

Why would he move up, 2 years ago he started the year at 25

where is Musky hunter, maybe he can fill us in on this?

Will Barry even allow E. Wick to wrestle off against the top contender for varsity
at the wrestle offs?  E. Wick will get one match, win or lose.
Same thing happened at 197 last year. Ritter won his semi final match, but
then was not allowed to wrestle off against Peissig.

MAGMA

His competition days are done due to injury-to bad, when healthy he is one of the most entertaining guys to watch in the nation.
