Shane's ear must be ringing today. Am I the only one who keeps checking badgerstate obsessively, saying "come on Shane", to watch some of the insane conference matches this weekend? I realize the guy is crazy busy and truely appreciate everything he does for the sport, just feeling like an addict who needs a fix.... YOU DA MAN SHANE!!!!!

I liked that he was one of the two main play-by-play guys on the Big 10's coverage of the MN vs. Penn St. dual yesterday. He's the best in the business. His talent and wrestling knowledge is wasted just doing 2-3 interviews in a dual.

There was one point where he suggested Ness should try something to get more team points late in the match and Jim Gibbons mentioned he'd be better served holding good position and taking the win. Not 15 seconds later Ness takes the risk and has Alton on his back for the big fall that was the difference in the match. Classic!
