Rocky Biegel from Rapids in 1988?

Ingold might not even be the first for his school, wasn't there also another Bayport wrestler heavyweight that may have done it?

Yes, Doc, Rocky Biegel(who son is now play football for the Badgers) Thx.

And I think he did it in '87 as well. Dinglan was '85 or '86.

Must have been 85 since the 86 Class A Hwt Champ was Brian Fonville from Milwaukee Washington.

Rocky Biegel was 1984 and 85.  Dean Dingman was 1986 and Bo Schembechler never told him not to wrestle.  Dingman chose not to.....he wasn't real fond of Stockowitz' running at wrestling practice.....

Are you telling me Brian Fonville did not win state in 1986?
Because his gold medal and bracket chart says different

I never said that.  I said Dean Dingman won his title in 1986.  Sorry that I didn't specify that Dingman's title was Class B (D2 now).

You happy now, Quack?

Not positive because I wasn't there that year but I think Dingman pinned all three kids in less than minute.

I'm not sure that program is correct.

Rocky was 185 in 85 and 86.  Was HWT in 87 and 88.  If memory serves he right he was 77 - 0 as a HWT.

If you look at class A, you'll see a name crossed out. Bob Czarnecki, my wrestling partner, was hurt in practice. I bit him in the arm pit. JK. Great Hwt. who had to sit our his junior year with a ruined knee.

I was 167 and took my beatinz.
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

I believe Rocky pinned everyone his Sr. year and it wasn't until the state finals that someone made it to the 2nd period against him.  Reffed flipped the disk it came up red, Rocky took top, over in 20 seconds.

At Rocky's senior state meet, he injured a young man in one of the early rounds. Had the other kid and his coach chose to, they could have one by DQ, but they refused to do that. The match continued and Rocky pinned the kid "very gently" according to a conversation i had with his coach Lewis Benitz afterwards. Class act by all involved.

Barron's Tom Richie never had to go past the second period, when he won state back in '91.  Two tech falls and then a pin in the finals, to complete a perfect senior year.

Jens Lantz, Ellsworth pinned or TF everyone he wrestled in regionals, sectionals and at State BOTH his Junior and Senior year.

Jens use to warm up pinning JonJon over and over before matches.
