D1 College wrestling has fewer wrestlers than just Wisconsin High School D1 and they compete against each other.  Wisconsin has 3 divisions that compete in same tournaments with some programs never seeing each other.  Quite the difference in comparison.

College D1 has 76 schools at ten weight classes so you need to keep track of 760 wrestlers

Wisconsin HS D1 has 128 schools with possibly 14 wrestlers for a possible 1,792 wrestlers.  Now add the other two divisions
Of Course, this is only my opinion and no one elses!

High school rankings should not be used for seeding especially the first month of the season.
