Fundraising Ideas

Our High School team is in need of upping our fundraising activities.  Interested in what other teams have done besides the car washes, bake sales, etc.  Thanks in advance.

We did a letter writing campaign one year.  The letters basically said we could sell you stuff you don't really want (wreaths, candy, entertainment books) or you could just donate to us instead.  Then we put dollar amounts of 10, 25, 50, 75, 100 and other...  Each kid sent 10 to people they had a chance of getting donations from.  We made almost $5,000 doing this.  We've also done pin and takedown pledges where people could donate an amount for each takedown or pin.  Also had a pushup contest and asked for 10 cents a pushup.  The kids got 3 minutes to do as many pushups as they could.
