None are so hopelessly enslaved, as those who falsely believe they are free. The truth has been kept from the depth of their minds by masters who rule them with lies. -Johann Von Goethe

Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!

Ghetto

Very nice.

How does this team get selected? Or do they just take kids?
As long as we are keeping score, I've got something to prove

Tonto

Hard to believe the team couldn't fill the 88 and 100# weights ???

Hand Control

I think that these kids are growing and are sick of cutting,as they should be, as some have worked very hard at staying the same weight all year. Free/greco is supposed to be fun. And as very good coach that I know once said "Winning is fun".I would like to take that one step farther and say "Winning as a team is the ultimate win". Especially in our great sport of wrestling. It allows for more of everything our sport has to offer, parent support, new friendships, etc.Heck when you have an X- factor kid gutting it out in a hard fought win and moments later a stud from up north teching his kid, just because he can,and then have LAW kids doing what they do "winning".That sounds like fun to me,I only wish that I could have been there to see it,darn work. Lol  I do know that it is a very cool thing that my son even wanted to go ,as he has not had a lot of results that he has wanted as of late.Maybe after all the smoke has cleared he will put that feedbag we all know called hard work and find that success he is seeking. As to the WWF coaches and other very dear friends that made this happen yesterday ,as a parent ,I say thanks! I think that there will be Wisconsin 106 lber that will hopefully learn and grow from this, I only hope that it is on a dime.

They ran duals at Northern plaines?

Duals were with teams in the northern plain region. Cadet duals were still held in Florida. Kids got matches without the expense of traveling to Florida.

Was this planned and organized by USA wrestling?  I find it hard to believe that USA Wrestling is on board with boycotting the national duals .  But I do see an opportunity to maybe change format of nationals duals and run duals at each regional and the winners move on to championships some where.  Would maybe increase involvement from states who normally do not compete at national duals.

You don't have the only son wishing for junior dual team. ;)
