My nephew is stationed in Afghanistan. Started his second six month tour two months ago.
What are the best things, most appreciated, that we can send to a soldier stationed in Afghanistan?
Serious suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

When my brother-in-law was stationed over there, he really appreciated home baked cookies, bars, etc. that he could share with his buddies.  Visits via Skype were also greatly appreciated, as were letters and photos.

P.S. - He is an avid reader, so his wife sent him lots of paperback books, too.

Tom, a guy I work with had a son in Afghanistan and he always asked for baby wipes. He was a very popular guy when we sent him boxes of them.
