Hudson leading the Marty Loy after 2 rounds. Hudson , not ranked. Defeated 2nd ranked Menomonie Thursday 47-22 and are ahead of 7 ranked teams.. More wrestling to go but it has been a good run this last week.  Burlington right there 12 point behind in 2nd.

Hudson had 2 #8 seeds knock off 2 #1 seeds. Mitch Fanning @120 and Dylan Anderson @ 170.

Well done!  Once a wrestler starts to believe, anything is possible.  When you get a whole team starting to believe, then you have something magical.

Hudson better thank Eau Claire North for lighting that fire. What an amazing turn around and week for Hudson!
We don't need trophies or fans, just the competition.

That's a very true statement about wrestling; that intangible is worth quite a lot once a kid is out there on the mat and success on the mat feeds the desire to prepare - it turns out to be a synergistic circle that results in success. Nice observation, Harris.

True statements Harris and npope.. the kids and the coaches in those wrestling rooms, together can make things happen that some others think won't..

Hudson will get to wrestle D2 #1 ranked team Ellsworth @ Hudson duals Jan 10th. Should be a good one..

Very impressive by Hudson. First time I missed that tournament since I was in 8th grade. Looks like great competition all day - big congrats to Hudson. They're very well coached.
