When you come to the Clash or watch it on Trackcast (for only $10) you will notice that each mat will be sponsored by a different company. We decided to take some risks and try to present wrestling in a way that shows sponsors that they can get a return on an investment when supporting wrestling. You can view a promotional video at ClashMN.com.

There will be no more mat 1, 2, 3... This year at the Clash there will be Buffalo Wild Wings, Covanta, Dick's Sporting Goods, Kwik Trip, Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine, Morgan & Trust Realty, R&S Transportation and State Farm Insurance mats. We want to show these companies that if they put money towards wrestling the wrestling community will be appreciative and support them. The Clash asks that even if you do not live anywhere near one of these companies and cannot give them your business that you please thank them on social media so they know their support is appreciated. Obviously if you are going to be attending The Clash feel free to stop by any of the local companies in Rochester and be sure to mention wrestling and The Clash and say thanks.

We also want to thank MN/USA Wrestling and NYWA for agreeing to use the sponsored mats for many of their events throughout the 2016 calendar year. It will be fun to watch the little guys wrestle on these mats during the next year.

Another big change was to move on from Flo and take advantage of new opportunities that Trackcast offers. The Clash has been able to reduce the fee for viewers to watch The Clash to only $10 for the entire weekend, sell sponsorship and provide two announcers on every mat for all 96 duals. Every team has either appointed an announcer from its community or will have someone from MN that will follow the team throughout the entire tournament. The new revenue streams will help raise more money for Minnesota wrestling and should also show other wrestling tournaments how to raise more funds.

The Clash also gave every team an opportunity for its booster club to sell sponsorship and keep 100% of the money raised. Track has worked with us to help present sponsors on its webcast whenever each respective team is wrestling.

The Clash has tried to think outside the box and do things a little differently. We hope you enjoy either the live event or webcast.
