Lucas won the Loras open yesterday at 184. His 5 wins were a tech, 2 majors and 2 falls. One of his pins was in sudden victory over Tate Naaktgeboren, a freshman who is redshirting at Iowa St. Naaktgeboren was a very highly recruited multiple time Fargo champ from Linn-Mar known for his epic battles with Gabe Arnold. Pretty impressive win including being up a weight.

Nice to see Lucas had great success at 184. The Iowa State wrestler Naaktgeboren has a pretty good record this year - they will probably battle again in the future!
