Can you still register for the association without going to the clinic?  I didn't see a spot for that.

You can register as a member only.  That will be one of your options after you log-in under the Clinic and Membership Registration link (top one).  There is also the mail-in option still available as well (see WWCA Clinic Page), though online registration is preferred.

It does not let you register for just a membership.  I tried, and it only lets you register for clinic and membership together.
