This is the best haul for a single D1 school from Wisconsin high schools since...

Now do Missouri... would love for Wisconsin to get some more of these Dodgeville lower weights! Local guys and tough.

Looks like the badgers may have gotten the better head to head guys.

Johnson over Hopke
Ingham over Daley

Actually over all not a bad class for Wisconsin if you really dig into it.

littleguy301, I still have little faith that Johnson ever steps on the mat at UW.  Yea, I know he says he wants to play football and wreslte - but doing it are two different things.  The time constraints from trying to do two D1 sports, go to school and have a social life will likely force him to do one or the other - but hey, Ive been wrong before.  Time will tell.

Ben Kueter and Nash Hutmacher are both doing it this year so it is happening at least to some extent.

I think Hopke will beat Johnson if they wrestle again next year.

Kueter has 3 matches, so yes he is doing it, but very little Hutmacher less then 10 I believe

Keuter is a freshman so giving it a try. Doing this for all 4 years is a completely different story. If he does, he will NOT come close to reaching his potential in either sport. I predict that he'll stick with football after this year.

Hutmacher is done with football so no reason not to.

Good chance that Johnson wrestles his freshman and/or senior year but much less likely to wrestle as a sophomore or junior.  Football is where a lot more $ is, so if he has reasonable NFL potential he'll favor football over wrestling.

Very limited action for sure. Hutmacher 5-3, all D1 but 1 was a forfeit from ASU. All duals. Six Big Ten plus Wyoming and Arizona St.

Kueter 3-1. All duals. Wins over Ok St, Northwestern and Minnesota. Loss to Kerk. Preserving his redshirt I would think so Hill will go for the Big Tens. It will be interesting to see if Iowa is in a bowl game next year and he starts as late as he did this year. Will they let him wrestle in the Big Tens and try to wrestle into a qualifying spot? Will be very hard to have enough matches to get an allocation/at large unless he wrestles a lot of opens.

Very true on that. Hopke needs some weight and he will get it.

I am just posting results that has happened. Trying to point out that the badgers have had some successful recruits!
