Wisconsin Wrestling Online has been ranking Wisconsin High School wrestlers and teams online since 1997.  Today our rankings are a culmination of the painstaking process of compiling and reviewing results, information and observation by a committee of ten professional individuals from across the state of Wisconsin. We are very proud of and stand by this comprehensive work in progress and are recognized by coaches across the state of Wisconsin and the country as being original and reliable.

Milton should be ranked ahead of mukwonago. They beat mukwonago soundly at the Burlington duals on January 9th.

Sauk Prairie 31 Milton 30.

Mukwonago 40 Sauk 31.

I guess when Milton wrestles Stoughton this week it will get even more convoluted.

So what's the point? Mukwonago beat Sauk, Milton beat Mukwonago, Sauk beat Milton (dec 10th). The most recent results from this month are that Milton soundly beat mukwonago yet is ranked well beneath them.

Oak Creek also beat mukwonago 31-30 on January 9th. Milton crushed Oak Creek that same day.

So you think two weeks later the results would be different? I like Mukwonago, but they would not beat Milton if they wrestled them again today. I'm a total homer for Oak Creek, and I can readily admit that we could not beat Milton if we wrestled them again today. What was the score between Mukwonago / Milton?

 ....2 Milton boys never went up and one went down.  .. come Fri Night, well see how they fair against Stoughton, one thing for sure, it will be another Barn Burner.. Toss Out the records for this one!...it's no secrete that Milton's upper WT will have be there key to there winning the match up as we seen in Stoughtons match with MUK..for both teams involved, it will come down to, Not giving up Pins! and Getting them!  if your going to get to Stoughton, it has to come at there Upper WT's...and as we seen many times before, It may simply come down to who has more Guts!  Guts to stay off there backs!.....Just a guess, but I would have to believe, that it's been talk about extensively in both wrestling rooms this week..that and SR leadership!...........great point Hound, Records mean Nothing! ...ZILCH!

Stoughton 39 Milton 18.   Tough to make a case to rank Milton ahead Mukwonago now.

tough to beat any team giving up 4 pins, that's 24 pts, take away Milton lone pin, and that's still a 18 pt swing,but the FF Puts it back to 24 Pts, bottom line, Milton stays off there backs and gives up the 3 instead of the 6 and wins one of the 3 toss up close ones and catch that pin at Hwy and it's a new match, Congrats to Stoughton, they came to wrestle as they always seem to do in big matches. was nice to see the young Shea go up and wrestled the state champion, was a good match, Kline get the TD 1 sec from Double OT on a sweet move...now the real season starts!....
